A short plat is in progress under the new Kitsap 9 lot regulation. This will
produce 8 new lots plus the existing house on acreage. The prelim plan is shown
below.
- All lots have territorial / forest views on two sides.
- Lots are over sized for zoning (R9, or 0.11 acres/lot) with ~
1/4 acre per lot. Many could be subdivided further.
- 8 new lots is the maximum for quick short platting.
- Existing 3200 sq ft house solid 1960 construction, oak floors on main,
renovated for chemical sensitive individual (low VOC, no MDF etc). House
location is grandfathered in, thus renovation such as an additional storey
should be permitted. Flatten with new construction may be denied. Situated
in beautiful mature garden which probably includes the oldest and biggest
Japanese Maple in the county.
