A type of flavonoid found in some food. Often found with Rutin.  Recent research indicates that it does not affect platelet aggregation .. Does not effect platelet aggregation, platelet thromboxane B2 production, blood pressure or resting heart rate.

It appears the original good press for it was its association with proanthocyanidins which does effect these factors.
