Many individuals do not have the money or option to do a ISAC panel. The following is a series of experiments that may help determine if you have coagulation, and what may affect it.

This should be done when things are STABLE -- since the stuff effects coagulation and thus brain function, I would suggest (if available) the following test be done every day with someone timing and recording the results.

  • Have a friend pick a number between 101 and 108, then say this aloud to you, starting a stop watch.
  • You must count backwards in 7's [click here for a reference table] until you hit 0-7.
  • Have the friend record the seconds that it takes and the number of errors made.
  • Use the change to infer what helps you.

For each item below, do for one week only. Do not take items that you cannot tolerate:

Supplement Dosage Time after taking to test at
Piracetam 4000 mg 45 - 300 minutes
Aspirin
Alternative: Grape Seed Extract
650mg / meal
300 mg/meal
45 - 300 minutes
Vitamin D 4000 IU/day 45 - 300 minutes
Avoid all foods with Vitamin K (i.e. leafy dark vegetables)   Any time
Lumbrokinease 2 capsules /meal Any time
Alpha Lipoic Acid 300 mg/day Any time
Red Yeast Rice with CoQ 10 1200mg / day Any time

Note: If A improves, and then taking B results in a drop - this means that A is better than B (B may be of benefit, but the loss of stopping A was more than B's).

Once you have determined what works for you, find the appropriate dosages and re-stablize.
