We are likely lying. Our prototypes are often ready for a reduced functionality release. Performance and scalability is pro-actively done in the prototype. When needed, we will meet external criteria or standards in the prototype and take it through certification. Often the prototype is ready to be handed off to maintenance developers to enrich and tune as needed — with rarely a need to re-engineer.
- For Patchlink we developed their first OVAL complaint application and took it through certification by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
- For Blackboard, we developer their first web application that fully passed Web Accessibility requirements.
“Your prototypes are closer to a version 2.0 product than a prototype!”
